Max Chaos – Ride The Wave (2025)

Just an everyday guy that you could run into on the bus, at the grocery store, or even when you smile and greet your neighbour, Max Chaos is that average dude who deals with the grit and glory of life – except, he finds solace in a chaotic rush of hard-hitting music. Chaos explains, “I just woke up one day and figured out I had the ability to use my voice in different ways to express the pain, frustration, and madness that one goes through as a human being in this day and age. Then I headed straight to the studio and started doing it for real…” Join us as we jump headfirst into his debut single, ‘Ride The Wave’.

Recorded and produced by industry veteran Dan McConomy with mastering by Maor Appelbaum, ‘Ride The Wave’ is not for the faint-hearted. A thrust into the blistering world of metal with a brush of nu-metal allure, ‘Ride The Wave’ casts you into a kaleidoscopic sonic hurricane with reckless abandon. Unlike a hurricane that has the calming eye somewhere in the middle, Max Chaos keeps the insanity bounding from the outset all the way throughout the two-minute melody.

While Chaos’s gruff voice surges with the pain, frustration, and angst all built up and spewed out, the instrumentation contributes to its aggressive ferocity. Justin Wells’ thrashing drums meld with Karlos Doom’s damning bass roar beneath roaring guitar riffs and, of course, the metal-tinged vocals. Interestingly, while the swirl of mosh-pit-ready music can scoop you from your everyday existence into a realm of madness, there is individuality in each instrument demanding attention before that almighty scoop.
