Following her single ‘Following A Voice Inside’, ‘One Breath’ is another of Cameron’s seamless collaborative projects – this time with close co-producer, Carl Fernandes. Recorded and produced in Miami Beach, Florida, ‘One Breath’ may be another of Cameron’s resonating songs. Still, it stands out slightly for its effortless, quick creation, showcasing Cameron’s artistic prowess as a songwriter. Penned in a single day, she shares: “The concept came quickly; no often can I write a song in one day…” She further spoke about her collaboration, “…I always felt like we spoke with one voice through music. We are always better together as a team.”
Sophisticated, sleek and smooth, the production of ‘One Breath’ highlights the maturity and skill in crafting songs that are not only lyrically intriguing but also use melody to further enhance the track’s theme and mood. Similar to ‘Following A Voice Inside’, the vocals have a haunting quality that burns with ethereal shimmers; however, instead of a siren’s song, there is warmth, heart, and richness in Cameron’s dulcet voice.
A strong pop song, the collection of synths and bold beats lies ahead like a glittering sonic path ready to take you on an adventure. Smooth and clear, with shimmering hints of joyful optimism, you step off with confidence into the pop vibe; however, the whimsical shine adds a bit of innocent carefreeness to ‘One Breath’.
