Sunrise In Jupiter – Take Me Home (2025)

If you take a fancy to the sounds of Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age and My Chemical Romance, the chances are you’ll take a liking to Sunrise In Jupiter. Brimming with heavy rock stylings, the UK-based group have a way of capturing your heart, ensnaring your soul, sending shivers down your spine and leaving you gasping for more. Only a couple of tracks to their name, the quintet don’t merely play songs, they create other worlds with a rush of atmospheric, powerful and resonant rock. The latest addition to their discography is the single ‘Take Me Home’.

With their debut track, ‘Satellite’, Sunrise In Jupiter burst onto the scene as a band not to be ignored. Joining the skills of singer-songwriter and vocalist Sonny Adams, guitarists William Poe and Adam Ward, bassist George Cook, and drummer Johnny Bucci, the band shifts into third gear with ‘Take Me Home’. Produced and recorded by Adams, ‘Take Me Home’ has the hard-hipping blast of old-school alternative rock; however, the group reaches contemporary audiences with a slip of indie-rock edginess.

A strong flair of My Chemical Romance binds with hints of Foo Fighters in ‘Take Me Home’. The thing is, just as the melody is reminiscent of established artists, a peep of a group wanting to shape their own sound lilts throughout the song. Harmonic and mellifluous, the melodic symphony is a rush of soothing, smooth, heart-warming sound. Yet, as much as there is sophisticated maturity in the track, a grasp of vulnerability brims in its delicate exposition of human fragility.

“’Take Me Home’ is the emotional breaking point of Mission to Mars Vol. 1. It’s a desperate cry for reconnection – a final plea not to be left behind… It’s the turning point in the story. When the signal fades, this is the moment when we ask: Is anyone still out there?” – Sunrise In Jupiter on ‘Take Me Home’
