Emerald Bluffs – Sleeplessly Dreaming (2025)
It’s said that sometimes people can be their own worst enemies. Society may be uncertain, challenging and sometimes terrifying, but the inner conflict and negative thoughts that pervade our minds can make it a million times worse. Emerald Bluffs is unafraid to rip the band-aid off and bare all these inner concerns bare for the world to see. With his trusty guitar, rich vocals, and moving melodies, the US-based singer-songwriter offers solace, understanding and connections to make you feel you aren’t alone. The latest addition to his discography is the single, ‘Sleeplessly Dreaming’.
Adopting a DIY approach to music production, ‘Sleeplessly Dreaming’ was penned, composed, arranged, recorded and produced in Harris’ rented room. An intricate layering of several rock-inspired guitars, listening to ‘Sleeplessly Dreaming’ is like wandering through a misty sonic forest with each instrument wafting across with individuality – a dance with each sound capturing separate emotions.
On one hand, ‘Sleeplessly Dreaming’ is eerie and somewhat creepy – you expect to see a mischievous imp run past or peek from within the fog; however, on the other hand, its gentle tones offer soothing, calm, and sincerity. Elegant and sophisticated, Harris’s rich vocals harmoniously bind every element in a well-oiled melody. Yet, within this developed tune, vulnerability, fragility, and poignant melancholy ooze forth.
“This release is significant to me because it is the most raw and emotional song I have released. It takes a deep, introspective look into my soul and also exposes some of my darker truths to the world… The song is significant to others because it sheds light on some of our deepest desires as human beings: a desperate search for love, the deep desire to survive, and the heartbreaking struggle to keep moving forward…” – Isaac Harris on ‘Sleeplessly Dreaming’
In addition to the single, Emerald Bluffs released an official music video for ‘Sleeplessly Dreaming’. You can view the video below and/or on his YouTube channel.
