Michellar – Conquer All With Love (2025)

With a penchant for captivating storytelling and moving songs to match, listening to Michellar’s music is like falling into a good book with a cup of tea and chocolate biscuits by your side. In 22 months, she penned over 100 songs, and in 15 months she released 24 singles – so there’s a bit of Scheherazade in her bones ready to create, share and entertain with musical tales. Now based in London, she continues to make music for the masses; today, we’re eager to delve into her most recent release, ‘Conquer All With Love’. Do you have the biscuits ready? Here we go!

Having released at least 10 songs this year alone, excluding the one we are about to review, Michellar is an artist not to be ignored and seemingly hardly ever void of creativity. Recorded in London and produced by Toby from Tobias Wilson Music Ltd in Staffordshire, the UK-based artist taps her hat at old-school rock sounds from the 70s and 80s. Influenced by her favourite band, The Police, the melody is a harmonic wave of bold drums and dynamic guitars, creating a soothing sonic foundation on which the male and female vocals seem to walk hand in hand.

Joined by London-based musicians Christina Rntd. and Harrison Black, ‘Conquer All With Love’ is a charming love ballad with such vividness that you feel the romance, the passion, and the vulnerability in this pairing. As if the soundtrack from one of those black and white romance dramas from yesteryear, there’s a sweet sincerity lingering in ‘Conquer All With Love’; however, as much as it is nostalgically sincere, the tranquil sentiment only deepens the complexities of their relationship. Michellar explains:

“’Conquer All With Love’ is a song about taking your significant other by your side and promising that wherever the relationship takes them, love will always be at their side, conquering all those challenges. This release stands out because it has that intro that takes one back to the 90s and takes you forward into modern times with real, unblemished promises of happiness and challenges along the way.”
