Revived Echoes – Power In My Life (2025)
Weaving personal experiences, raw emotions, and heartfelt messages in his music, singer-songwriter Revived Echoes “blends dance music with thoughtful, emotionally-driven lyrics… centring on…capturing moments, moods, and the often-unspoken feelings we all carry throughout our lives…” This is our introduction to Revived Echoes, yet, for some reason, it feels as if he has been in our lives for much longer than a few minutes. Join us as we delve into his discography and find out for yourself if he’s an old friend or a new acquaintance.
Following his well-received single ‘Hypnotised’, Revived Echoes releases his new single, ‘Power In My Life’. While ‘Hypnotised’ leaned strongly toward an upbeat electronic pop sound, ‘Power In My Life’ softens the electronic weave. True, the beats and keys of a synth-pop tune are present in the new single; however, they are subdued by a soaring guitar and bolder vocals. Entwined with the beats and keys is a scintillating guitar – almost acoustic in nature – somehow bringing a more “human” effect to the overall melody.
More chilled-out, the step down from high-beat dance style beautifully captures the heart of the rather personal theme of strength and resilience in a world of social expectations and norms. For me, the seeming separation of vocals on one path and the instrumentation on another offers a more intimate conversation and insight into Revived Echoes’ mind as compared to ‘Hypnotised’. Revived Echoes explains:
“…this song delves deep into the journey of rising through internal struggle, breaking mental barriers and reclaiming strength… the song captures that raw moment when you decide to when you decide to stop running and start climbing. Whether you’re facing a silent battle or chasing something bigger than yourself, this one’s for you.”
