With an eagerness to celebrate life and all its trials, tribulations, and triumphs, singer-songwriter Ross The Piano Man shares his cheery tunes, making days lighter, brighter and more exciting. Already an established artist, the Welsh musician has shared the stage with the likes of Bonnie Tyler and Josh Groban, toured as a guest entertainer on Royal Caribbean Cruises, and earned international acclaim from global radio stations, publications, and enthralled fans. The latest addition to his discography is the single ‘Express Delivery’.
Following the song ‘Song Of Your Life’ – a track celebrating his 40th birthday – ‘Express Delivery’ arrives with cabaret pop charm. Produced with Simon Johnson and Rupert Christie, the single is a piano-driven blast of acoustic sophistication; however, as much as the tune has mature elegance in its arrangement of percussion and piano, the toe-tapping, smile-inducing retro vibes add a spark of youthful innocence with playful sincerity.
While ‘Song Of Your Life’ clicked with a country meets folk feel, ‘Express Delivery’ is pure old-school pop – the type of song made for days with old friends sitting before a fire, or those times chilling out under the umbrella with a cold drink in your hand. For me, the song screams variety performances to charm crowds and give you a little hope on dull days. Ross The Piano Man’s rich vocals round off the warm sensation of ‘Express Delivery’, slowly wriggling into your brain until ‘Express Delivery’ becomes the song you can’t forget for days on end.
I consider ‘Express Delivery’ to be the perfect addition to a playlist of Michael Bublé and Barry Manilow, but it might just outshine them, having me hit repeat on ‘Express Delivery’ without enjoying the rest of the songs. Sincere, sentimental and relaxing, Ross The Piano Man lifts my heart with ‘Express Delivery’.
