Will Sims – I Gave It All For You (2026)
While singer-songwriter Will Sims has, in his words, been “…casually releasing music for years”, he has built a strong presence in the US rock scene that people beyond casual releasing look for. Known for an energetic and confident stage presence, the Baltimore native connects with audiences through moving words, powerful melodies, and an infectious vibe that has you jumping about and screaming along while your heart pounds in your chest. This is our introduction to the musician, so join us as we take our first step into Will Sims’ discography.
Following his 2025 albums, My Thoughts, My Soul, My Heart (Live) and Do You Feel Alive?, Sims steps into 2026 with his new single, ‘I Gave It All For You’. A song title that alludes to the gesture of giving your everything for someone else – often, a pure love in those romantic films – Sims’ song turns inward, while laying his emotions and experiences for all to see. Sims explains:
“…I wrote a song about giving up everything to be who I am meant to be. How I have sacrificed a lot of time and many relationships to try and be successful in music.”
Produced with long-time friend and collaborator, Tony Corelli, ‘I Gave It All For You’ is a powerful blast of 90s rock in the lines of Queens of the Stone Age and Nine Inch Nails. Performing all the instruments, other than the drums, Sims grabs and shoves you down an Alice in Wonderland rabbit hole with kaleidoscopic glares from the walls in a rambunctious, almost gut-wrenching fall to… well, who knows what lies beneath. Interestingly, while the pounding drums, pulsating bass, soaring guitars, and Sims’ rugged vocals pull you through the crazy tunnel, it is not a dark place you will reach; rather, it’s a bolt to empowerment, passion, liberation and self-discovery.
