JCCutter – Vegas Days (2026)

In JCCutter’s eyes, his musical journey is probably the same as many others: “I always wanted to write music and share it, to express it, to let others feel it. Like so many before me, life took over. Responsibility… but always tapping on my shoulder was the desire to write. So, I kept at it, just never doing anything with it…” Jump ahead to the present day, or 2025, when he released his debut single ‘Shutdown Pawns (Outlaw Version)’, JCCutter stands tall with a guitar in his hand and a song in his heart. Today, we have the chance to jump headfirst into his discography with the new single, ‘Vegas Days’. Join us, won’t you?

Ending 2025 with his well-received tune ‘Tequila At Dawn’, JCCutter stomps into the new year with ‘Vegas Days’. Similar to ‘Tequila At Dawn’ with its fun-tastic Americana vibe, ‘Vegas Days’ is another song made for hip-swaying, toe-tapping and head-nodding moments. Yet, there is far more swagger with the new track.

From the opening chord, you can imagine JCCutter strutting onto a Vegas casino floor complete with neon lights, chinking slot machines, shouts at the roulette wheel, and the smug grins at the poker table. Entirely evident in the melody, the cracking drums and punchy guitars create the ambience of a tension-filled fog of guts, risk and fool’s gold. However, while the arrangement depicts the super-cool gambler flipping chips in the air, it is not the instruments but the vocals that elevate the adrenaline-fuelled strut.

Gritty and gruff, but with a warmth lingering in the rich vocals, JCCutter offers the perfect theme song for any outlaw making his way across to the poker game. The thing is, with the poker metaphors and rodeo imagery, this vibrant single hints that not everything happening in Vegas stays in Vegas. He explains: “The single ‘Vegas Days’… is a fun story about how sometimes what goes to Vegas doesn’t always stay in Vegas. Sometimes the risk is great in more ways than we would think – good or bad…”

So, my overall thoughts of ‘Vegas Days’? Brimming with Americana flair and a heavy rock flavour, the track has me grinning from the outset. I highly recommend this song to everyone, and am eager to hear more from JCCutter.
