Earning the nickname “the littlest girl with the biggest voice” in her hometown, Stefanie Michaela was turning heads even before she hit puberty. The girl who would watch award shows, point to the television and say, “I want to do that and be on stage one day, and you know what, she did. Working with some of the music industry’s renowned professionals, Michaela’s tenacity, zeal, and pure belief in herself made her dream come true. Today, we take a listen to the US-based musician’s new single, ‘Anything Is Possible’.
Following her acclaimed singles, ‘Better With Time’, ‘Stay In Your Lane’ and ‘Sometimes’ – all songs embodying her self-belief – Michaela hits us with ‘Anything Is Possible’. Produced by Grammy-winning Keith Thomas (Amy Grant, Vanessa Williams and Selena), ‘Anything Is Possible’ gives a nostalgic nod to the ’90s pop music scene. With a steady beat carrying you along in a shimmering river of synths and wistful keys, the track has a soothing, steady quality with lingering sincerity.
For me, listening to ‘Anything Is Possible’ was a shot to the days of S Club 7, Backstreet Boys, and Britney Spears. The melody itself is toe-tapping, easy on the ears, with a brush of endearment that grips your heart; however, it is the vocal execution that breathes further life into the whispers of yesteryear. Hope oozes from her voice, like an old friend encouraging you to step from uncertainty and fear to empowerment and optimism. Co-penned with Steve Dorff and Michael Jay, Michaela explains:
