Revived Echoes – The Scenery Of My Thoughts (2025)
A few months ago, in August to be exact, singer-songwriter Revived Echoes made his way across our virtual desk with ‘Power In My Life’. In an electronic weave of music, he quickly turned our heads, demanding attention with the intimate, soothing, yet simultaneously bold piece of alternative meets electronic-pop. Today, Revived Echoes returns to our desk with his new single ‘The Scenery Of My Thoughts’.
Following the well-received singles ‘Power In My Life’ and ‘Hypnotised’, Revived Echoes rounds off 2025 with ‘The Scenery Of My Thoughts’. Self-recorded and produced, the new song shifts from the chilled-out tone of ‘Power In My Life’ to something more upbeat, energetic and up-tempo. Yet, while the track clips at a livelier brand of dance and electronic pop, it retains this underlying sense of soothing and languidness. It’s the perfect line between fist-pumping, body-wiggling pop on the dance floor and a tranquil drift through pools of shimmering light.
One aspect I really enjoy about Revived Echoes is the rich vocals. Sliding through the arrangement with a silvery tail, his tone is both comfortingly warm and a little chilly; it’s as if Revived Echoes is holding your hand and making you grin, but there’s a spark of electricity glistening with imp-like cheekiness. As with all his melodies, ‘The Scenery Of My Thoughts’ taps into raw human emotion wandering through the complexities of relationships. Yearning, desire, and vulnerability are delicately explored in this reflective single; however, just as there is a melancholy poignancy to the intimate track, a sense of resilience, decisiveness and clarity march forth.
So, my overall thought of Revived Echoes and ‘The Scenery Of My Thoughts’? Another intriguing dip into electronic pop, the new track is sincere, sentimental and will definitely mark another triumph of Revived Echoes.
