Track of the Day: Sespool – Newsflash
Born and bred in the Bay Area, Sean E. has built a name for himself in the indie-rock scene. After six years of playing bass in the alt-folk band Rin Tin Tiger, Sean E. decided to break out on his own in 2019. Performing as SESPOOL, Sean E. released his first solo debut album (This Love Is) Eternal. SESPOOL has been described by Warlock Asylum to set a precedent as an honest emcee whose level of reality means living life as an open book”. Listening to his latest single ‘Newsflash’ we have to agree with Warlock Asylum.
Recorded in his home studio and mastered by Bill at Azimuth Mastering, ‘Newsflash’ reminds me somewhat of old-school Hollywood Undead but with Pink Floyd and Travis Scott-esque undertone. A perfect song for the emo kid who wants some psychedelic rock in the mix.
