Track of the Day: BLØSMM – Poser (2026)

The next chapter for musicians Brian Dellis and Jordan White – a pair we were introduced to as Jane N’ The Jungle – BLØSMM celebrates authenticity, innovation, connection, and the raw understanding of finding a new space to grow. Exploring the “moments that shape us, and the courage it takes to shed expectations…”, the US-based duo burst through our speakers with emotionally charged lyricism set to a hard-hitting rock melody. While White and Dellis are seasoned artists, their collaborative effort in BLØSMM has only one single to date – the debut ‘Poser’.

Produced by Jim Louvau and Andy Gerold, with mixing by Sean Beavan, ‘Poser’ is a three-minute, hard rock-flavoured assault on the ears. This isn’t a bad assault, but a bit of a hit-between-the-eyes crash of noise that is a rock-star, air-guitar-playing track perfect for those days when you need to shout out a little. A combination of thrashing drums, a bold bass, scorching guitar and a shimmer of keys lingering in the background, ‘Poser’ takes your breath away, throwing you into a tumultuous soundscape and tossing you about from one side to the other.

The melody itself is a little frenzied, frantic, and bursts with the rage hidden deep down in the murky water. For me, however, it is not the massive hit of hard rock that makes the song – although it certainly gives it a kick – it is White’s vocals. Gritty and rough with lilts of vulnerability and fragility, her execution is one to touch the heart. Yet, within the melancholy is a poignant sense of strength, defiance and empowerment. BLØSMM explains:

“’Poser’ is an anthem about identity erosion… and the battle between ego and purpose. It captures the feeling of losing control while searching for something greater within yourself, standing at the lowest point of your life with nothing left to lose except the choice to keep fighting. Surrounded by doubt, judgement, and voices expecting you to fail, the song becomes a declaration of defiance… because sometimes the greatest victory isn’t proving everyone else wrong; it’s refusing to give up on yourself.”
