CREEPS – I Will Follow You (2026)
Originally formed in 2004, the alternative rock group CREEPS began to make their mark with confident performances, three albums – 2006’s Destiny, 2008’s Forgotten Desire, and 2010’s Delete As Appropriate – and winning hearts across Slovakia and the Czech Republic; then CREEPS took a break. They returned to the scene in 2019 with renewed momentum, but another break followed, courtesy of the Covid-19 pandemic. Skip ahead about five years – at least according to Spotify – and the curtain goes up once again as the passion of music ignites another CREEPS return.
Following the well-received 2026 single, ‘Two Against The World’, ‘I Will Follow You’ continues the heavy, hard-hitting hard rock tone of CREEPS’ new chapter. Produced by Jakub Malášek, the single pulls you immediately into a sonic hurricane. Michal Vašin’s drums thrash, while Malášek’s bass walks across the melody. Filip Buršik’s guitars soar and sweep around you. While the soundscape holds palpable tension, it also carries a sense of soothing hope and liberation.
As the melody pulls you from soothing moments to tumultuous soars, the sonic ebb and flow is beautifully enhanced by Marek Sedláček’s gritty vocals. Rough and rugged, but rich and caressing, he weaves through the track, brimming with vulnerability and fragility, but also encouragement, empowerment and resilience. Moreover, the music perfectly aligns with the theme, almost a soundtrack in a dramatic film. CREEPS explains, “’I Will Follow You’ is a dark and emotional rock song about loyalty, connection, and following someone through the darkest moments.”
If you’re a fan of Breaking Benjamin and Three Days Grace, then you’ll more than likely find a spot for CREEPS on your playlists. Personally, I can’t wait for more and will keep my eye (and ear) on CREEPS. I recommend you do the same.
Alongside the single, CREEPS released a hand-drawn, animated lyric video for ‘I Will Follow You’. You can view the video below and/or on their YouTube channel.
