Juva – Sun’s Out (2023)

A few years ago, Juva reached our ears with his single ‘Forsaken’ and his intriguing modern lamentation of human emotion. Skip ahead to 2023, and Juva is back to ensnare our senses once again with his critically acclaimed songs. The latest addition to his discography is the single ‘Sun’s Out’.
Following his well-received single ‘Crossroads’, Juva flicks a switch from pensive poignancy to fun-filled celebration in ‘Sun’s Out’. It makes sense considering the song is about living those high-paced, heart-filling bounce of long summer nights wrapped in beautiful joviality. When speaking about ‘Sun’s Out’, Juva explains that it “is all about those great summer days out partying outdoors whilst the sun shines on…”
A chilled-out vibe with pulsating beats, Juva’s rich vocals and interspersed Caribbean steel drum, ‘Sun’s Out’ is tinged with kaleidoscopic positivity; however, the lyricism has some more intimate vibes behind the harmonic tune.
You might have a grin spread over your face as you sway to Juva’s sensual vocals, but ‘Sun’s Out’ has a deeper intensity to it. I’m unsure whether it should have an intense philosophical side to the song…but it’s there. Instead of merely singing about a good time, the passion oozing from Juva’s voice, and the instruments are haunting, feverish and vibrant. I told you, Juva’s music is not a song with some nice sounds, it is an emotional experience to be felt, lived and loved.
Sincere, sentimental and sassy with sun-soaked sensuality, Juva found the theme song to the summery nights of vibrant joy with ‘Sun’s Out’.
