Saline Grace – Weeping Wounds (2026)
From their latest album, The Tree of Knowledge, Saline Grace has released ‘Weeping Wounds’. The second single from the album, it continues to look into the sinister world of the album as a whole. The focus of the album is modern man balancing where they are in modern society with the individual discoveries of challenges within daily life.
The dark wave and alternative rock sounds of this track draw you into the cinematic whole of the album and will have you eager to dive into every track of it. Ricardo Hoffmann, the man behind the music, draws on years of experience to create his immersive and expansive sonic universe. As part of his fifth album as Saline Grace, this single is sure to have you wanting more of his distinct sinister sound.
The dark tones grip you from the first note as they pulse against your senses. The darkwave vibes are executed perfectly as you are pushed into an almost moody soundscape that breathes with dark tones. There are lighter twinkles that undulate against the dark backdrop like glitter in a night sky.
As the single progresses, the layering of the track adds an amazing depth to the sound. Each melodic line is rich and lap over each other before weaving together for an undeniable listening experience. Through all of this, the vocals rest on your shoulders and twirl around your head like a fog that leaves the lightest sheen behind on your skin. The darkness of the soundscape is enhanced by the depth of the vocal performance, which has an almost Nick Cave feeling to it.
While the depth of the sound and vocals is enough to keep you captivated, the poetry of the lyrics adds a new dimension to the track.
