With ‘Run On’, Stephani Ezatoff is paying tribute to Elvis Presley’s iconic interpretation of the traditional African American Gospel hymn. While paying homage to the version that came before, she has used distinctive creative choices to make this cover her own. With ethereal intensity, she captures the duality of judgement and divine love that resonates through the track.
Recorded at Sound Shop Studio on Nashville’s Music Row, the release is made more powerful by the fact that it was one of the last tracks recorded there before its doors closed forever. The powerful intensity of the track is another showcase of Ezatoff’s musical prowess, which has earned her awards for Best Song and Best Music Video at the Christian Online Film Festival 2025.
The guitar line that opens the track is all rock ‘n roll that has you moving to the rhythm.
