Hailing from Cape Cod, Massachusetts, Allie Jason is a talented songstress with some powerful punch and pizzazz. Realising at a young age that she was fated to be a musician, Jason began learning the guitar in first grade, singing since she learned to speak and writing original material since sixth grade. So, she pretty much was a singer-songwriter before hitting puberty.
Fast-forward to 2020 and we find a 25-year-old Allie Jason still fated to be a musician. Instead of sitting back and feeling cabin fever during lockdown, Jason used the time in quarantine as a period of creativity. In only a couple of months, she wrote, recorded and produced the album Recovery: Level 1. Using only the Garage Band app and her room as a “home studio”, ‘Jason followed the album up with her single ‘Beautifully Chaotic’.
Highly reminiscent of Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga, Lorde and Miley Cyrus, ‘Beautifully Chaotic’ is a passionate pop song with a gritty electronic edge. While the track is catchy and a real crowd-pleaser regardless of the audience, Jason maintains an enigmatic and luring sound with her seductive vocals. Overall, the track isn’t exactly beautifully chaotic in itself but, considering it was recorded on an iPhone, is a stunning form of 21st-century pop music.
“This song embodies the idea of being unapologetically you, chaos and all!” – Allie Jason on ‘Beautifully Chaotic’
