‘The Wind’ uses strings to set a cinematic feeling to the opening. This gives way to a more folk-based melody that makes you think of warm summer days spent out in fields with friends. There is an easy flow to the music that fills you with memories while delicately dancing across your senses. Filled with an easy beauty, the melody moves from folk to cinematic with the coming and going of the strings. You can easily sit back and let the warm rays of the music settle on your soul.

Noyman’s vocals add a retro feeling to the song as she draws you into the emotions of the lyrics. Her performance has a meditative vibe to it while she transports you to sun-kissed memories. There is a slight country twang to her performance, but this simply adds a swaying feeling to the song. The lyrics have an interesting poetry to them as she fills you with her thoughts and emotions about love.
