Third Bloom – Grace (2026)

Should you take a quick look back at singer-songwriter Third Bloom’s background, you’d find it quite the adventure. Discovering a love for music at a young age, the UK-based musician was quickly turned onto acid jazz artists in the early 1990s. He then immersed himself in drum & bass, and after a “lost weekend in Amsterdam”, Third Bloom dumped his return ticket to the UK and spent over a decade in The Netherlands submerging himself in the club culture of Amsterdam. After a decade of “heady decadence… the mind still willing but the body having a stern word…”, Third Bloom packed his bags and returned to England, settling in Brighton.

In 2023, Third Bloom released his debut album, Echoes – an album that signalled another stage in his life journey and, in his words, “…instead of simply absorbing music… now sculpts it.” Today, we take a listen to his most recent release, ‘Grace’.

Following the 2026 single, ‘Unturned’, the self-recorded and produced ‘Grace’ is not for the faint-hearted. Walking along the boundaries between electronic urgency and a sweeping orchestral sound, Third Bloom doesn’t see the styles collide; rather, he notes how the division complements the other, even if they are so diverse.

Like walking across an empty street in a dystopian reality, ‘Grace’ opens with staccato beats that seemingly pulse in the background, heightening the track’s urgency. A bold bassline weaves across with a rush of both confusion and pending desperation – all increasing in pace as the 8-minute track rushes forward. Palpable tension hangs in the air as an electric whirlwind engulfs you; walls all about, setting a tone of uncertainty and fear. Then the wall falls as the orchestral layers feel like a refreshing breath, pulling you out of the mire. Singer-songwriter Tash Breeze’s vocals navigate the path between intimacy and intensity, chaos and order, confidence and terror. It’s sincere and evocative, but, as I mentioned,  not for the faint-hearted.

In addition to the single, Third Bloom released an official music video for ‘Grace’. You can view the video below and/or on his YouTube channel.
