The majority of the track is Flynn simply speaking, sharing his thoughts on how life can become challenging, what stress we experience, and the significance of letting the stress pass because “…life is too short”. An acoustic guitar filters in during the chorus and across the bridge with a delicate finger-picking style, giving the song some instruments to enhance the sentimentality, sincerity, and stripped-back, down-to-earth nature.
“A couple of years back, I got really sick and had to give up the relentless lifestyle I’d had for a good while. This was pretty much the first song I started writing when I was convalescing at home, sat in my kitchen, just picking my guitar.
