Vincent J. Rigney – My Love Is Just Enough (2026)

With the heart of the blues and the power of rock music, plus some indie-rock thrown in for good measure, Vincent J. Rigney oozes soul from the top of his head to the tips of his toes. Known for confident stage performances, memorable melodies, and timeless narratives, Rigney doesn’t just strum his guitar and sing along; he feels the music, breathes the music, and takes you along for the ride. We came across the UK-based musician a while back, enjoying the vintage charm of his blues-rock, and he’s kept us intrigued for the past few years. Today, we sit back and turn up the volume on his single, ‘My Love Is Just Enough’. Join us, won’t you?

Released earlier this year, ‘My Love Is Just Enough’ was Rigney’s first step into 2026. Unlike 2025’s ‘Mood’ and ‘Squeezed To The Bone’, ‘My Love Is Just Enough’ brought a more intimate, tender and heartfelt sound to our ears with its acoustic flavour. Simplistic and somewhat bare-bones, the track is just Rigney’s vocals atop easy guitar strumming. Interestingly, while the single has a truly stripped-back feel, there is a toe-tapping charm making it bright, bouncy and full-bodied.

Loud, bombastic rambunctiousness can turn your head, but ‘My Love Is Just Enough’ proves you don’t need too many bells and whistles to have an impact. You can hear the sophistication in its polished production; however, there is a vulnerability in Rigney’s vocals that make the plainness both elegant and off-kilter. Rigney sings with purpose, but there’s just something that makes you think of crooked smiles, friendly glances and the deep sigh of relief.

While reading these reviews may have you thinking I come across good music all the time, that’s not really the case. Yet, there are those artists that just plonk a smile on your face and make a dreary day better each time you press play; Vincent J. Rigney is one of these artists. ‘My Love Is Just Enough’ is one of the songs off Rigney’s upcoming album, and I can’t wait to hear the rest.
