Today we reacquaint ourselves – review-wise – with their new single, ’5 foot 2’. Join us, won’t you?

Following their 2026 album, Chaos, 9 o’clock Nasty takes you on a steady strut with ’5 foot 2’ – 90s hip-hop style. Chilled out and calm in one way, the steady bass, dense drums and smooth guitar lay the melodic foundation; however, within the mellifluous wave is a sparse, barebones, gritty line beautifully hidden. Yes, this song seemingly shows a human side to the Leicester trio, but – and this is more duality – the razor sharp wit and celebration of life’s turns ensures us 9 o’clock Nasty remains destructive and deadly.
